The DCC works with campus partners to welcome new and returning students, staff and faculty to campus in the fall through engaging events that connect people with resources and community.

Past fall welcome events have included:
- Accommodation Orientation sessions to help students set up and use their academic accommodations
- ND@UT Welcome events designed with the sensory and social needs of neurodivergent students in mind
- Disability Resource Fair to connect with student organizations, services, Disability Studies programs, assistive tech resources and more
- Deaf/Hard of Hearing Meet and Greet bringing together Deaf and hard of hearing members of the UT community
- Art Gallery Reception featuring exhibits by disabled artists
- DCC Open House to explore the DCC lounge, art exhibit and library
